Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a preferred treatment for dull skin, brown spots, and age spots. Microdermabrasion uses small exfoliating crystals that are sprayed on the skin. It is suitable for all skin types and colors and do not cause skin color change or scarring. However, it is not effective for severe problems such as scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, or deep acne scars.

In this procedure, small crystals are sprayed on to the skin to remove the outer layer of the skin. It is essentially a skin rejuvenation method that makes the skin smoother and brighter.

After the procedure, your skin will become pink in colour (it will subside after some time) and you might feel dry and tight for about 24 hours. Apply moisturizer and sunscreens. However, do not apply makeup for at least 24 hours following the procedure. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight for a few days after the procedure.

Benefits:
  • Lesser down time
  • Does not require surgery or anesthetics.
